Should you wish to open a Term Deposit with us, all you need to do is fill in, print, sign an application form and post this to us together with a clear and legible copy of your Identity Card (front and back). We will also require an original, recent (less than 6 months old) water & electricity or telephone/mobile bill in your name that shows your permanent residential address. Following this, you also need to send us the deposit amount, either by bank transfer or by cheque.

The start date of the Term Deposit account shall be the date when funds are received and cleared on an Izola Bank account. A cheque drawn on a Maltese bank generally needs 2 to 4 working days to clear.

Once the Term Deposit account is opened you will receive a confirmation letter in the post.

At this time you will also receive temporary log in details for you to be able to access details of your account via our website.
